Triple Schezwan ~Guest Post

When Nupur asked me to guest post for her I was honoured, pleased & proud that I have finally arrived.

Arrived on the blogging scene!! Yea!!!!

From the time I stated my place as an online  diary for my experiments, where my brother kept on pestering me to post pictures to now that is quite a journey.
From the few tremulous steps where my brother kept on guiding me every step to now (he does check out things for me, answers my queries, why should I search when he can easily answer).I have become more independent I don’t follow his suggestions at all!! Ha-ha!! His ideas are wonderful but I do not have the time to put them in practice immediately will work on them slowly.

Is that all? No,do check out Nupur’s U K Rasoi where she chronicles her travels as she says “mediocre to food lover”, my current favourites  to name a few are

Scrambled cauliflower stir fry
Paneer masladaar
Brown rice idli
Herb Polenta with chili tomato

Not to say anything about her beautiful pictures.
Thanks Nupur  it was a pleasure.

Masala Pav

We love the food at the local Udupi restaurant.
Every time we go there my husband is sure to order Idli and Masala Pav.

So I was always interested in making it.

The original one is akin to a burger minus the cutlet with loads of garlic, pav bhaji, onions and tomatoes.

Baby Corn Stir Fry

My kids like corn but somehow they do not enjoy baby corn.
It is a perpetual quest to make baby corn in the form they will enjoy. One of my recent endeavors has been Baby Corn Stir Fry.

This was for the first time that I had tried making snacks for evening but I was saving it up for the last day of BM.

The girls were not aware of the presence of this new member in the fridge so they had had their snack. But I still heated the container in the microwave and as the younger one was stepping out to play came back in reverse gear to check what was cooking.

Corn Bruchetta

I do not enjoy corn, the only way I really enjoy it is roasted, in fact I have just started eating it boiled or steamed so I thought of the girls and hubby dear when I saw Bruchetta was something that I first saw on Manjula’s Kitchen here. Here is more on this delicious Italian snack or appetizer.

I had bookmarked it then. In between the computer was reformatted many a times and I lost the bookmark.
