Berry Short Cakes

Berry Short Cakes

Berry shortcakes was a Baking partners challenge. The July month challenge (I know I am late) was suggested by Reeni of Cinnamon nice and everything nice.  This eggless recipe is a simple one and you can use any berries of your choice.
I agree that there is no better way to showcase them then with fresh whipped cream and classic shortcakes. These shortcakes are like biscuits only instead of butter they use heavy cream.

My family love them a lot. In fact by the time I came back from a bloggers meet they were all gone.
Thanks Reeni and Swati!

Chocolate Lamingtons

Chocolate Lamingtons” I had made it as a part of Egg less baking group’s challenge for July. Since the reception at home was not too great when I discussed this recipe I had made only 4 lamingtons pieces. Two of which I shared with my colleagues.

They loved this cake! In fact I had been requested for the recipe but then the request turned to an order.

Yes I was asked to deliver 1 kilogram of Lamingtons, chocolate lamingtons by my colleague. Knowing my reluctance to commit myself as I was too busy/not to keen he told me “get it when you can”!

Now here is something that you cannot ignore or forget my reminder is meeting me every day! So finally I bit the bullet and discussed it with my husband who supported me.

Methi Muthia

This is a very short post. The reason being I am unable to type; my back is paining, it’s not raining….just excuses.

The reason is I have to put up a lot of posts. I just realized that I have once again missed some events that I wanted to send my entries too or the pictures are lying in my draft folders for so long that I have forgotten what I have made, how and when… what a disaster!!

So for now till I clear my pictures it will have to be short   posts.

If you like to read me rambling about I am sorry.

Whole Wheat and Corn Flour Muffins~ A Blog Hop

Last time I was sure it was my last Blog Hop as I missed the dates.
I posted on 14th instead of 11th lucky for me I just caught the linky. The question that kept on seeping in my thoughts was “Am I still a member of this group.” Can you imagine my happiness when I saw Radhika’s mail informing about my partner for Blog Hop. Thanks Radhika.

For this times Blog Hop I am paired with Priya Srinivasan of Enveetu Kitchen!!

The choice of the recipe was easy as there was a demand for muffins, the chocolate chip ones from the kids. I generally do not want to use refined flour while baking so any recipe that uses whole wheat in muffins and cakes I bookmark. This is one down on my bookmark list but they are so delicious, tasty and soft that I will be making these muffins repeatedly.
